Accessibility
Last updated: 18 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to look up a date on this site, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
What we do
- Pages use headings, lists, tables with header cells and landmarks, so screen readers can move around them.
- A "Skip to content" link is the first item on every page.
- Gurmukhi text is marked as Punjabi, so screen readers can switch voice.
- Text and links are designed for readable contrast, and the site follows your device's light or dark setting.
- Pages work with keyboard alone, show a visible focus outline, and respect the "reduce motion" setting.
- Every page works without signing in, and the core dates are in the page itself, not only in scripts.
Known limitations
- The month grids are compact on small phones; the day-by-day table below each grid gives the same information in a list.
- The printable PDFs are designed for paper and are less convenient with screen readers than the web pages.
Tell us
If something on the site is hard to use, email [email protected] with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within two to three working days.
